Master of Arts in Art Education Studio Sessions
One of the unique characteristics of the University of Florida online Master of Arts in Art Education program is its emphasis on immersive, hands-on art making experiences, through the inclusion of advanced studio courses. These courses have been included in the curriculum to allow our students the opportunity to explore and experiment with different mediums of art, while encouraging creative and systematic investigation of formal and conceptual topics.
As part of the Master of Arts in Art Education program, students are required to complete 3 studio courses (9 credit hours total). Two of the courses (Studio 1 and Studio 2) are on-campus intensive summer sessions, and the third is an online Digital studio course. Studio experiences will be available on a rotating basis and will include such courses as Sketchbook, Printmaking, Digital Photography, Digital Video, Design and Painting.
